120th Day of School!

Dear First Grade Families,

We had a busy, fun week! I enjoyed meeting with many of you for parent-teacher conferences! It is great to celebrate how much the students have learned and how much they've grown this year! Last week, we had our 120th Day Celeberation! We celebrated by making 120th Day sunglasses and doing many activities surrounding the number 120! 

Here are some pictures from our 120th Day building centers.  We worked in teams to build with 120 pattern blocks, Legos, brain flakes, and cups.  We also played a game to see how many times we needed to roll a die to get 1 to 120!

Here we are collecting 120 words from around the classroom! Students wrote trick words, students' names, and words from our schedule.

Here we are doing 120th day exercises! Students did wall sits, sit ups, push ups, jog in place.... They 12 exercises for 10 seconds each!

LONG overdue update!!

Dear First Grade Families,
